Business Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating and generating annual revenue with SES Smart Energy Solutions Sales staff
To call on and visit prospective customers to determine International product/services needs and perform sales presentations to match products with identified needs.
Assist to generate leads, qualify prospects and uncover sales opportunities.
Remains knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts
Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required
Provides follow-up with customers sales representatives to ensure closure of the sale and customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided
Responsible for the techno-commercial management of the area operations to achieve business objectives for the region
Define value proposition and secure resources to sell existing products in new markets
Develop business plans, reports & forecasts for planning purposes
Develop business presentations
Coordinate contract terms and conditions with legal and finance
Develop new business opportunities.
Job requirements & Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
MBA degree in related field/ Subject will be preferred
Must have successful track record in a technical sales capacity- both developing NEW client accounts as well as managing and upselling existing accounts- in an industrial setting - preferably with a custom manufacturer or fabricator. Knowledge of Oilfield / Air separation Industry is required
Knowledge of and experience in heat transfer equipment for the global refining and petrochemical industry is preferred
Preferred Management Experience with previous P & L accountability
Experience selling a service or a value based solution- This must be someone capable of building long term client relationships- consultative selling- and growing the relationship to become more of a trusted advisor with that client
Ability to develop business prospects, close sales, have excellent verbal and written, interpersonal and communication skills
Previous sales experience to GCC regional O&G and industrial key players e.g. Aramco, RASGAS...
Minimum five 5 years experience in process refining, general refining technology, Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchangers or air separation facilities
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience within the GCC
Fluency in English - a good working knowledge of another language (particularly Arabic) is an asset.
